UNHCR provides far more than emergency food and shelter in makeshift camps for the 33 million people under its care. The agency also promotes refugee rights, and provides education and medical care to those in need. We seek innovative, alternative ways to address problems in the field. Our goal at USA for UNHCR is to help UNHCR enable refugees to again live productive and peaceful lives.
