Microsoft: Unlimited Potential
Microsoft has been a dedicated partner of the UN Refugee Agency for more than a decade. By providing cutting-edge technology and expertise, Microsoft continues to help UNHCR better serve the needs of refugees around the world. In April 2009, through its Unlimited Potential initiative, Microsoft partnered with the UN Refugee Agency and PricewaterhouseCoopers to launch the Community Technology Access (CTA) program. Through the CTA, Microsoft is helping refugee children, teachers and entrepreneurs around the world to bridge the digital divide with access and training in computer and internet technology. Motorola Foundation
In 2010, the Motorola Foundation supported three of UNHCR's Community Technology Access (CTA) centers in refugee camps in Rwanda and Bangladesh. The centers provided thousands of refugees with access to computer and internet technology, opening the door to information and opportunities that would otherwise be out of reach.
