Monthly giving is the one of the most effective way to provide consistent and sustainable support to refugees around the world. With monthly gifts, we can plan and most effectively allocate resources to aid refugees in need as much as possible. How do I set up a monthly gift?
You can further the impact of your giving by setting up a sustaining gift through our monthly giving page. Monthly giving strengthens our ability to plan and most effectively allocate resources, especially in emergency and crisis situations.
How can I update my payment information for my monthly gifts?
In the event that you need to update the payment information associated with your monthly gift, you can do so by visiting our update page at UNrefugees.org/update. Once you’ve submitted your information, our Donor Care team will make sure that your future monthly donations will be processed with this new information.
In addition, if you would like to further the impact of your monthly gift and avoid having to update payment information down the line, our preferred payment method is directly through your bank by Electronic Fund Transfer (EFT). To set this up, you can either give our Donor Care team a call at (202) 792-1164 and provide us with your routing and account number; or you can send us a voided check to our DC office at:

How can I make changes to my monthly gift?
If you’d like to increase, decrease, or even suspend your monthly gifts, please feel free to contact our Donor Care team through the contact form below, or our phone number at (202) 792-1164, and we’d be happy to make those adjustments for you.
When do I get my tax receipt for my monthly gifts?
At this time, we do not send out receipts for each donation that is processed every month. Instead, we will send out a summary receipt at the end of the year that will include a roll-up of all your monthly gifts, as well as any other gifts you may have made through the year. This receipt will be sent to you early on in the new year, around late January or early February.
