Anne-Marie Grey, Executive Director and CEO of USA for UNHCR, has been appointed as the new chair of the Advisory Panel of the International Fundraising Congress (IFC) for a 2-year term.

Convened every year since 1981 by The Resource Alliance, the IFC brings together 1,000 dedicated fundraisers and changemakers from 60 countries to learn from and with each other, sharing knowledge for the greater good.

“My primary focus is exploring how we evolve to address the rapidly changing nature of how we do what we do. Fundraising remains vital to our work, but our work isn’t merely about money anymore,” Grey says.

“So we must build bridges and connections, because we know that the future of the social impact sector – and the causes it champions – depends on creative collaborations, sustainability and forward movement. Whatever your journey, IFC will keep you thinking beyond the day-to-day and beyond the current solutions.”

Working with the Advisory Panel, Grey aims to search for new speakers and forward-thinking topics to ensure that the IFC maintains its position as the global forum for new thinking in the social impact sector.

Kyla Shawyer, CEO of The Resource Alliance, says: “Anne-Marie is the ideal person to take IFC forward into the next decade. She knows the current challenges and trends from the inside so she’s in a strong position to ensure the IFC remains highly relevant.”

At this year’s IFC, Grey is hosting a masterclass on building meaningful corporate partnerships and also joins seven other inspiring women for a big room session on women’s leadership.
