You will help provide critical aid like food, warm blankets and safe shelter in moments of crisis. But you will do so much more than that — you will empower displaced families with hope and opportunity as they rebuild their lives.
Team Step With Refugees runners are guaranteed race entry when they commit to fundraise (or donate) a minimum of $900. A limited number of guaranteed spots will be available, and we will grant them on a first-come, first-served basis.

How to Join the Team?
Send an email with the subject line “2024 MCM Marathon” to stepwithrefugees@usaforunhcr.org to secure a spot and get set up on our fundraising platform.
Fundraising
Once you secure your spot, our team manager will help you prepare to fundraise and will be a cheerleader during your training and fundraising journey. USA for UNHCR is requiring runners to raise a minimum of $900 for a charity bib in this race and will ask for credit card information during the signup process to secure their spot. If a fundraiser doesn’t meet the minimum commitment, the balance will be charged to the credit card on file one month after race day.
